Mono app output only audible in one channel after pipewire update

I recently updated to pipewire 0.3.39. Since doing so, Mumble has stopped outputting audio to both channels, and now only outputs to the left channel. I suspect this is due to its output being mono.

I found this issue which seems to be the root cause: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire … ssues/1778
However my DAC doesn't have multiple outputs, so I don't see how this would be applicable to me.

Does anyone know how to work around this? I tried adding a virtual sink like so:

pw-loopback --capture-props='media.class=Audio/Sink node.name=mono audio.position=[FL FL]' --playback-props='audio.position=[FL FR]'

But no audio came back from this.
