[SOLVED] Error on Arch Linux Downloads Page?

Current WKD lookup command on the Arch Linux Downloads page errors on my Debian 10 install, stating that --locate-external-key is not a valid option. I performed a quick Internet search, found the option --locate-keys here, substituted that and that worked. Maybe need to update the WKD Lookup line on the Arch Linux Downloads page?

Works fine for me:

┌─[Shiv ~]
└─╼ gpg --version
gpg (GnuPG) 2.2.32
libgcrypt 1.9.4-unknown

Re: [SOLVED] Error on Arch Linux Downloads Page?

That is a valid option, but maybe the gpg version on debian is too old.
https://www.gnupg.org/documentation/man … tions.html

The equivalent would be something like

--locate-keys --auto-key-locate clear,nodefault,wkd

Edit: Debian oldstable/buster seems to have an old version, but a new version with --locate-external-keys is in the backports. The current stable/bullseye should have support for it.

Re: [SOLVED] Error on Arch Linux Downloads Page?

Thank you all for the feedback. I thought maybe the listed option might be wrong/outdated since the reference I provided listed a different option that worked under Debian 10 Buster.
