man pages broke

Greetings, I've realized these days that my man pages are no longer working in the right way, honesty I don't know what might be the exact cause.
No matter if I change my terminal emulator (I tested st an alacritty), my shell (bash or fish) or my fonts, man pages just keep unreadable.

Thanks for your help.

Re: man pages broke

Hello.

Please remember that the Code of Conduct (linked in my signature for ease) specifically mentions (in the General Guidelines) image sizes on the BBS.

All the best,

Re: man pages broke

Test xterm and also post the output of "$TERM" - if you set that anywhere, you're doing it wrong.

If it's *really* not the TE/variable, check

sudo pacman -Qikk man-db groff perl
type man perl groff troff
localectl; locale # ceterum censeo…
