Setting specific user theme for Intellij

Hello there,

I'm using GNOME as DE. There are some applications which I would prefer to use different theme. On most of GNOME applications, you only have to set the GTK_THEME on the target application. I understand that Intellij doesn't use GTK so it wouldn't work. But my goal is to use different title bar design which is much smaller on other compact themes. I don't intend to affect the internal theme of the Intellij, just the window decoration.

I hope someone could point out the solution to this matter. Thank you and I sincerely appreciate any help.

Have you tried setting GTK_THEME regardless? Afaik mutter relies on the GTK theme for the window decoration anyway.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I tried to set GTK_THEME regardless sadly it didn't work.
