[solved] Sync clock from command line?

Do a linux program like cmdline3 ( http://www.softshape.net/download/ ) for Windows exists?
I do not know why, but my clock often become wrong...

i uploaded a script which i found on some gentoo forum, i think.. that is able to fix it, well for me anyways..
i read somewhere it's often caused by a winb[bl]ows/dualboot..

Sometime I really feel a little stupid.. it was in the 'current' repo... I just missed it.

the program is called 'rdate' it connects to a time server and fix your clock or just show the time...
I just a working server, the program do not list any: tick.greyware.com
So to fix your clock use:
rdate -s tick.greyware.com
as root. I made a cron job.

its better to just set it once and let ntp daemon take care of the rest. It will gradually adjust your time versus abropt changes which will confuse programs and logs.

The NTP daemon polls an NTP server of your choice at regular intervals, and syncs your clock to it. http://gentoo-wiki.com/NTP has some good info.
