Hello,
I am unable to install vscodium:
# pacman --sync vscodium
error: target not found: vscodium
I have tried:
# pacman --sync --refesh --sysupgrade
Repositories core, extra and community are all included.
Enabled all mirrors in Canada and United States.
The package is active according to AUR.
Suggestions appreciated.

As you know - it is AUR package.
Check wiki, how to install it (makepkg, not pacman)

I suggest you read the wiki. It's not in the standard repos, it's an AUR package.

My immediate reaction was "Doh!" but it doesn't seem so simple:
The Wiki page does not have an install section.
I went to vscodium.com. There are instructions requiring aura or yay. Trying to install both of these returns "error: target not found: …"
Oy!

Read the link I posted properly. All the instructions you need are there.

UPDATE: I pulled a newbie.
I was under the impression that AUR packages could be installed with pacman. I confounded community with AUR.
I was trying vscodium because pacman was unable to download the code package. That was resolved; I am going to go with code instead of vscodium. That's not a criticism of vscodium; just a pragmatic choice.
Thanks
