[Solved] (kind of) Can not log in into steam from the steam client

So, I can no longer log in into steam from the steam client. So I tried deleting, .local/share/Steam and .steam and reinstalling steam again.
This is the output I get when I try to launch steam from the terminal:

I ran a bunch of updates today. There was a kernel update among other things. Tried downgrading, to that version. Also tried downgrading steam. Didn't work.
Will be really grateful if someone can help.

What does "can no longer log in" mean though? What does it actually do?

Your thread is the only result online for "LogonFailure Service Unavailable", "LogonFailure Account Logon Denied", and "LogonFailure Invalid Login Auth Code", or even "LogonFailure Failure"

A small window with the message Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam servers shows up after a long pause when I enter my password. It looks something like this:

The lnvalidAuthCode is probably because I entered the auth code wrong. After I retyped it, it forwards me to the next window (after which I again get the long pause). So the issue is I can't connect to the steam log in servers, from the app. I can however from the browser. The router is probably not the issue. Cause I tried using cellular data from a mobile hotspot too after it failed to work on my home network router.

I never manually set up anything on the firewall. Don't know how to use them to be honest.

Yeah. I just tried the -tcp flag thingy again from the second link. And it worked. I tried it once before. Didn't work that time. That was before the full reinstall though. I have no idea why all this is necessary though :3

Anyways, thank you for helping me.

Update:
Now it's working on it's own. Weird.
Don't even need the -tcp flag. Didn't change anything.
