Xournalpp writes a lot of errors when started from terminal

xournalpp file.pdf

How do I go about fixing these errors, or should I report this as an issue to the xournalpp repo?

Re: Xournalpp writes a lot of errors when started from terminal

Not strictly a bug but whatever sound library they are using iterating through available options. I'd ignore it, or configure your ALSA device properly. If you use pipewire or pulseaudio you'll want to install pipewire- or pulseaudio-alsa respectively.

Edit: FWIW decided to check and that kind of a dump reminded me of something and sure enough it's portaudio, but really this isn't a bug but it simply polling the available devices, you'd have to adjust/cripple your ALSA conf to hide some devices (...check aplay -L, it tries to access/provide every device there) if you want to fix this on your side and the point of portaudio is to give you a selection of all possible devices.

Odd, I have pulseaudio and pulseaudio-alsa already installed.
