Trouble connecting to A2DP profiles with bluetooth earbuds

I am on lts kernel and using pipewire and pavucontrol. On my first connection with earbuds, the A2DP is selected but it is suddenly switched to off and on looking for other profiles with pavucontrol will only show (mSBC and CVSD). Then I will have to re-connect 2-3 times till the A2DP is profile is selected. It used to be flawless before the update.

What was in "the update"? Kernel? pipewire? Whatever tool you're using for establishing the bluetooth connection? Check/post the last transaction of your /var/log/pacman.log

It was complete system upgrade. So it updated both kernel and pipewire. So currently at 5.10.79 lts and 0.3.40 of pipewire.
