double mouse pointer

Hello everybody,

I had recently installed Archlinux with i3 as a window manager. And after some time I start firefox, the mouse pointer lefts a static copy of itself on the screen. The copy doesn't moves, however it changes its form when ever the "main" pointer does it.
Anybody knows what the problem is?

compositor (kill picom?), graphicss driver (check your xorg log), spurious input device (xinput list)

kill picom doesn't solve the problem.
When ps ax | grep picom:

    972 pts/0    S+     0:00 grep picom

Nonetheless, when the double pointer appears, the last error message appears into the xorg log:

Try to drop xf86-video-intel (make sure there're no leftover configlets in /{etc,usr/share}/X11 that reference it)

You remove the package (and be mindful about /{etc,usr/share}/X11 …)
Is this btw. a multiscreen condition or did you also see this w/ only one output attached?

There is a large output when: $ tree /usr/share/X11, I thought that it was not good idea to paste here all of it.
However, $ tree /usr/share/X11/ | grep intel doesn't return anything.
Should I try to: # pacman -R xf86-video-intel ?

Yes, but since the xinitrc makes it look conditional, I wondered whether the issue has ever occurred when you were not using the external monitor.
And to build on that: is this a hybrid system (intel + nvidia/amd chip)?

After removing xf86-video-intel, the issue is still happening.
However, now the errors in xorg log file have changed:

The issue has occurred when I was using the laptop alone, without the monitor.

That doesn't answer the question.

This is about setting some display mode ("drmmode_set_ctm(xf86CrtcPtr crtc, const struct drm_color_ctm *ctm)" sounds color  table related)
Please post the entire Xorg log.
