At random times a key is spammed and reboot is needed

Usually j,k or l key is spammed and it doesn't stop, the only option is to restart the laptop.

I suspect it might have something to do with this mapping from vim, but it's just a guess: inoremap jk <esc>

Also, I've already replaced the laptop once thinking it might be a hardware issue, but this bug reproduces on the new system as well.
