Changelog: Support for Opera and simplified options for browsers with multiple names, like 'chromium' 'chromium-beta' 'chromium-dev' which now autodetect and just work.

Does the 'f' switch not work with this browser?

Yes, you're right. Sorry, havn't noticed that before.

@graysky Do you plan to add support for Microsoft Edge in the future? Right now I'm using the path option and it works but it wouldn't hurt to have the automatic one like for Firefox, Thunderbird etc.

I can... what is the path?

@graysky The path is /home/stefano/.config/microsoft-edge/Default in my case.

Hey @graysky - you're just full of handy utilities, aren't ya? hehe.
Do you have any suggestions for automating this into a weekly job or something? A user systemd script? Or maybe just a simple cronjob is sufficient in this case.

@sovy666 - Please try my latest commit from git. Just replace /usr/bin/profile-cleaner with the version on my github repo (make sure to make it executable).
@cloverskull - cron or systemd's user timer.

@graysky Yes, it works. Only thing is it gives me an error on '/home/stefano/.config/microsoft-edge/Diagnostic Data-wal' and '/home/stefano/.config/microsoft-edge/Functional Data-wal' reported as missing or not existing files. I checked on my system and there are '/home/stefano/.config/microsoft-edge/Diagnostic Data' and '/home/stefano/.config/microsoft-edge/Functional Data', maybe the right ones.

I do not know... I understood edge to be a chrome fork. Can you post the exact output?

@graysky Now I don't get any errors but the profile is clean. Maybe you have to surf a bit before the problem recurs. I'll keep you updated if it happens again, but apart from this small error, it's already working.

I moved the commit to my edge branch. I will wait for feedback from you before pulling it into master. I do not have edge and will not install it for testing on general principal. Not a fan of micro$oft.

@graysky I checked again after some browsing and it doesn't give me any errors anymore, the Cleaning sections of the Edge profile output are all marked Done even the two that in the previous post I reported as problematic, I don't know what happened but then I browsed and cleaned a couple of times and everything is fine.

OK thanks

Coming from this question, it would be nice if this tool could also be configured to clean up old browser history, say older than a month. Would this sort of thing belong in profile-cleaner, or is it beyond the project's scope?
