I just installed Qcad from the community repo and while it works fine, it seems unable to interact correctly with the system's file dialogs.
Qcad opens the dialog, but it is blank (no entries). This happens both when opening file or saving it.
I haven't seen the issue reported on the forums, but it is described with precise details in the manjaro forums. The output to console is not very helpful. I only get a warning:
Warning: couldn't create slave: "Unknown protocol 'file'."I also get a warning the first time I click on a menu item:
Warning: Could not find any platform pluginThe workaround mentioned there works----using Qcad's preferences to switch to pure Qt dialogs instead of system dialogs. But I'd be interested in a better solution, as Qt's file dialog is not as versatile as Dolphin.
Suggestions appreciated.
