iwd not working very well after 1.19

Hello.
I've been having weird time with iwd these days.
It has been pretty smooth experience until 1.18 though.
After 1.19 (the latest version as of now is 1.20) upgrade, it "connects" to the Wi-Fi (it literally says it's connected when I run

station wlanX show

). But it doesn't have the actual connection to the router nor the internet.

I tested it on multiple hardwares & multiple Wi-Fi cards.

Is this a known issue? Did they make any major change to iwd?
I'm not looking to fix this because as long as I downgrade to 1.18, it works perfectly. But I'm sort of concerned about the future.

There are two parts to a wireless connection. First the actual wireless connection that seems to work.
Then you'll have to set up IP addresses, commonly done with DHCP. For that you'll need a dhcp client (you can enable it in iwd, use dhclient, dhcpcd, systemd-networkd or another network manager like NetworkManager or connman)
What is your exact setup that does not work? For me iwd+connman seems to work. (I have some issues with automatic reconnections after standby and have to manually toggle it. Somehow multiple APs for the same SSID seem to confuse it if it cannot find the one it was using before suspend)
