Hello,
I'm having troubles getting any USB mouses to work on my laptop (an Acer Aspire E5-573). I've confirmed them to work on other systems, and the USB ports work, so I'm incredibly confused.
This may be related to problems I've had before where my touchpad completely broke, but it magically fixed itself without my intervention. It seems that my touchpad has, in my systems eyes, become the sole mouse accessible on my system.

I'm sorry if this is an easy/obvious fix, but I'm completely bewildered.
Thanks in advance!

The notebook has a touchpad toggle (Fn+F7?) - are touchpad and mouse operating mutually exclusive?

Sorry for the late reply, but without me doing anything the touchpad stopped working, and then managed to fix itself and the USB mouse problem completely. Thanks for the help anyways!
