Re: [Solved] Machine is not shutting down

There is a newer kernel:

uname -a
Linux Tex 5.15.4-zen1-1-zen #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT Sun, 21 Nov 2021 21:34:35 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Ryzen 5900X 12 core/24 thread - RTX 3090 FE 24 Gb, Asus Prime B450 Plus, 32Gb Corsair DDR4, Cooler Master N300 chassis, 5 HD (1 NvME PCI, 4SSD) + 1 x optical.

Yes, and updating to that kernel broke my system.

Re: [Solved] Machine is not shutting down

Ok, so I got another update.

With the new kernel release, I thought I'd give ti another go, but the issue persisted. So, I decided to downgrade the kernel and the nvidia drivers again. Sadly, the problems still are here, despite the kernel being downgraded.

However, during the installation of the kernel, I noticed some error messages:

I don't think the missing firmware is the problem here, but something isn't built properly.

I'm an idiot, nevermind. New kernel installation obviously wasn't in effect at first reboot attempt.
