No Audio or Video work

I don't know what I did, but audio and video doesn't work anymore.

All these problems happen like a minute after boot (to clarify, I have no problems, and then wait a few minutes and boom all the problems appear at once):
Video: i.e. chrome won't play anything, firefox won't play anything, and neither will parole or totem video players. I can still see the individual frames though. If I restart pulseaudio, video works again, but the issues with audio persist.

Audio: Audio won't work, but my headset seems to be detected. When I stop pulseaudio and restart it with the -v flag, it says

E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="2" name="pci-0000_01_00.1" card_name="alsa_card.pci-0000_01_00.1" namereg_fail=false tsched=yes fixed_latency_range=no ignore_dB=no deferred_volume=yes use_ucm=yes avoid_resampling=no card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""): initialization failed.

I think it's an issue with pulseaudio.

I tried reinstalling it to no avail.

I use linux-zen.
I have nvidia drivers with a GTX 1050 Ti
All my packages are up to date as of Friday 26th of November, 2021.

I'm not sure what other information I should give. Thanks in advance.

Re: No Audio or Video work

When this happens what's your output for

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*

? also post the full output from a verbose pulse start. This reads to me like you do "something" that blocks all your audio devices from being accessed.

Re: No Audio or Video work

Don't do that.

Remove wireplumber or at least disable/mask it's service if you want to use pulse, or properly switch to pipewire by installing pipewire-pulse.

Thank you. It seems to be fixed.
