Pacman showing error: no targets specified (use -h for help)

sudo pacman -R $(pacman -Qtdq)

This command gives an error

error: no targets specified (use -h for help)

I don't understand why,
Is there any solution? I've had the same problem before, but I had to reinstall Archlinux sad

Re: Pacman showing error: no targets specified (use -h for help)

There's little point to including an image of text when you already posted the text.

This can and is possibly completely normal. If you don't have any unneeded orphans on your system the command will not have any targets, what are you asking for exactly? Does the relevant -Qtdq command list anything if run on it's own?

The command is throwing an error so I got a little panicked because I am a beginner Linux user.
Thanks for your help smile
