[SOLVED] Logitech MX Master 3 mouse lag when used with USB dongle

Solved: Logitech USB dongle is prone to be too much close to power chords and too far to controlled devices. If you use an USB hub, consider where it is placed.

Hi all,

i use a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, connected with my laptop with its USB dongle. In the last couple of days it stops working well, and now there are lags in movement that make pretty unusable my mouse.

I`ve tried to stop power manager for it (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_ … utosuspend), but nothing changes.

The USB dongle is connected via an USB hub (only solution available, because Linux itself is running on an external USB disk).

How can I resolve?

UPDATE: I simply moved the USB hub where the dongle is attached, taking it off the electrical cables and bringing it closer to the mouse. Now everything seems to work better ...
