Hey there, this is a bit of a silly problem but I can't seem to figure out what caused it. A few days ago, after a restart, I noticed that the fonts on my greeter were comically large, and were overflowing into text inputs and such. I'm using SDDM. After logging in, I also noticed that the text in my dunst notifications was comically small, almost unreadable, and that text in emacs was several sizes too large. This is including text in the modeline, which I believe is configured separately from the regular font sizes. Also, the borders around my windows are defined to be 1 pixel in my i3 configuration, but they are suddenly noticeably larger.
For each of these programs, my configuration files are unchanged. Does anyone know what could effect the rendered sizes of elements in a handful of different programs?

Right after posting, I figured out the issue.
I moved /etc/X11/xorg.conf to /etc/X11/xorgg.conf.bak and rebooted, the issues were resolved. I suddenly recalled that I'd used nvidia X server settings, trying to line up the wallpapers on multiple monitors. Something in the generated configuration file was causing things to be rendered at unpredictable sizes.
