linux rebooting instead of shutting down or suspending on iMac 16,2

Greetings, I have been using linux for a year now and i tolerated the issue that it had of rebooting instead of shutting down or suspending on iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015), I have tested different kernels(5.4 5.9 5.12 and now i am on 5.15 zen) that could potentially fix the problem but it never went away i have tried solutions from forums which suggested WOL but i never found that option in my iMac (i have the option which says wake for network disabled on macOS but ig that's for sleep) It would be great help if someone can help fix the problems as it has been persisting for a long time as I use linux for programming and really need it and this issue is making me want to switch to macOS which was slower but atleast used to shutdown properly, Arigato.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/mac#Installation - Try to pass "reboot=pci" to the kernel.
