Pulseaudio missing profile 7.1

I have all time present profile (several years): Analog Surround 7.1 Output

But after last two months, missing this profile completely and there is maximal Analog Surround 5.1 Output. I tried to older kernels, but it is not by kernel, it seems that it is some updated version of pulseaudio.

I already discussed the problem with pulseaudio devs here:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaud … ssues/1309

and it seems that the bug is not in the pulseaudio,  alsa playback channel map just 6 entries, not 8.

I haven't exact time when the problem starts; I expect around 1.5-2months earlier. But I already wrote, I used it a years without problems. I tried older lts kernels, but it is not driven by kernel...

device.product.name = "Starship/Matisse HD Audio Controller"

For more details and logs, look to my link issue with pulseaudio.

Thanks for help.

Re: Pulseaudio missing profile 7.1

alsa-lib is the other user space candidate. Other potentials if you have a Windows dual boot make sure fast boot is disabled.
