i recently switched from kde DE to bspwm WM and i dont regret it but there is a issue my screen tears a lot like hell.
i went to youtube and tried some soluntion given there like turning picom vsync on and off and some more but none of them worked.
so if someone happy to help me plz tell me.
btw i m new to linux i know basics but i m not a linux nerd so i u give a solution plz give keeping this in mind.

What is your graphics hardware and driver(s)? There are TearFree options for xf86-video-{intel,amdgpu} that should work better than picom. See also https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … en_tearing
But the best solution is to switch to Wayland. That has solved the tearing problem completely and this doesn't induce the unbearable window drag lag caused by vsync under X.
See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=269436 for a Wayland compositor that can be configured to act like bspwm.
EDIT: using Debian package names for the DDX drivers. Oh dear.

FWIW, vsync on on picom does nothing if you don't also switch the render backend to glx.
