[SOLVED] My system is nearly unusable. Is there anything I can do?
Most of my software segfaults all the time, rendering my system mostly useless. What can I do about this? Is this common or is it a stupid question? Sorry if I misunderstood something.

No, it is not common that most software on a system segfaults. If you are not exaggerating then it sounds like there is something very wrong with your system, potentially a hardware issue or something misconfigured at the core.
How long has this been occurring?
How often do you encounter segfaults?
Which programs segfault?
Under which workloads? (e.g. does it only occur under high load?).
How do you know that they the crashes are due to segfaults? Post actual error messages if possible.
How did you install your system?
What hardware are you using?

How long has this been occurring?
I used to use Arch a few months ago, and the issues never happened. I installed Gentoo later and the issues began to happen. I was getting tired of it and switched back to Arch a few days ago hoping things would get better, but they didn't.
How often do you encounter segfaults?
My system usually goes 15-30 minutes before everything starts crashing.
Which programs segfault?
A lot of games and other programs running on Wine, the Brave browser, Firefox, Discord, Steam, etc.
Under which workloads? (e.g. does it only occur under high load?)
These issues happen regardless of heavy or light load.
How do you know that they the crashes are due to segfaults? Post actual error messages if possible.
Sorry if I'm gathering information the wrong way. Also let me know if I'm confusing segfaults with another type of error, I'm not familiar with software errors. Here is an error log from journalctl.

I'm not sure how to answer this question. I installed with archiso on EFI.
What hardware are you using?
- MSI B450 (MS-7B85 1.0) [64-bit]
- AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

How are you logging in and starting your session? What's your output for
sudo journalctl -b-1after having to reboot from a crash? If loads of software segfaults it could also be a buggy CPU microcode revision, try setting up CPU microcodes
FWIW there have been some reports with crashes and the 495.46 version of the nvidia driver, you can try to downgrade that to 495.44 (swapping "nvidia" for the appropriate "nvidia-dkms" version and installing linux-headers to allow automatic compilation)

I login on TTY1 and then start my X session manually. Sorry if I am answering this question incorrectly.
What's your output for
sudo journalctl -b-1after having to reboot from a crash?
I will provide an update after next crash.

I already had AMD microcode enabled, but now I followed some of the extra tips the wiki article mentioned.

How are you starting the X session exactly? If via startx make sure your xinitrc is properly set up the stack trace shows that it faults on a dbus action. Which does remind me, as it's an nvidia card you might be running into the dbus stall due to the nvidia driver: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=270972

Also don't fork xrdb or xmodmap - or technically xwallpaper (it'll likely set _XROOTPMAP_ID on the root window where picom will pick it up and there's a chance for a race condition here)

Pay attention to the second blue note, make sure there's no "dbus-lunch" in the xinitrc.

Ok, I made some changes to my xinitrc and updated the nvidia drivers to the latest version and everything is running just fine! I will mark this as solved. Thanks for all the help everyone!!
