Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with my Lenovo X1's wacom digitizer when using xournal++ (G5 Yoga 20UB0000GE). I can rule out hardware failure as I tried windows 10 with it and the pen / touch behaved as expected. I also tried Linux-LTS. And as there hasn't been a xournalpp updates since July I think it might be some xf86-input-wacom issue? I also installed libwacom but I'm not sure how the two differ or if they even interfere in functionality at all. I first noticed the problem on 09.12.2021. The pen worked like a charm for almost a year before that.
Now the problem itself: when using the pen after some seconds of writing in xournalpp it stops registering completely and the black xournalpp pen cursor just stands still while the mouse cursor jumps over to the top left of the screen. Meanwhile the touch still registers but only in xournalpp and nowhere else. So for example I can't close or drag the xournalpp window or interact with my xfce top bar with touch. This continues even after I close xournalpp and fixes itself after a minute or two. I can also fix it by scrolling and tapping with my finger on the xournalpp page and then sometimes pen functionality will return for some seconds before it breaks again.
Does anyone have any idea how to debug this? Anyone experiencing the same issues and found a workaround? Or are there any logfiles which might provide an insight into what's going wrong here? Thanks in advance ![]()

Hi, I'm a user of X1_Yoga_G4 and xournal++ of master@github, and I've run into the similar issue.
It seems to happen on kernel 5.15.6 or after, and doesn't seem to happen on 5.15.5 or before.
( I've checked this on zen kernel, not on normal kernel.)
We should confirm first whether this is true or false, @Samqi .

I found a similar issue has been reported upstream:

Yes! I have exactly the same issue as described in the github you sent. The bug does not occur at all when using 5.15.5. Thank you so much for responding!
