[solved] nvidia driver fails to load after latest restart

I'm not sure what changed, but I've been running this system for years. I installed the `lutris` package from AUR and was going to install a game. I restarted my system and was greeted with an Xorg error message.

```
[    34.772] (II) Module "ramdac" already built-in
[    34.774] (EE) NVIDIA: Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module. Please see the
[    34.774] (EE) NVIDIA:     system's kernel log for additional error messages and
[    34.774] (EE) NVIDIA:     consult the NVIDIA README for details.
[    34.774] (EE) No devices detected.
[    34.774] (EE)
Fatal server error:
[    34.774] (EE) no screens found(EE)
[    34.774] (EE)
Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support
```

I tried to manually load the driver using modprobe:

`modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia not found in directory /lib/modules/5.15.11-arch2-1`

I tried to uninstall lutris and nvidia. Then I restarted and installed nvidia again. Still having the same error.

Re: [solved] nvidia driver fails to load after latest restart

Looks like an updated kernel was just released and it fixed my issue.

Re: [solved] nvidia driver fails to load after latest restart

Either unsynced mirror or you did a partial update (pacman -Sy nvidia) - in which case: don't.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
