Ventoy USB Persistence Not Working

I've gotten Ventoy to successful boot in a live environment and show the option to boot with persistence but when actually booting the system with persistence the system gives me the following errors

When I use the persistence_ext4_4GB_vtoycow.dat file provided by ventoy from Github here: https://github.com/ventoy/backend/releases

EXT4-fs (dn-1): error loading journal
mount: /run/archiso/cowspace: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/mapper/vtoy_persistent, missing codepage or helper program, or other error.
ERROR: failed to mount '/dev/disk/by-label/vtoycow'

When I build my own persistence.dat file with the CreatePersistentImg.sh script I get this error instead

Waiting 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label/vtoycow
mount: /run/archiso/cowspace: /dev/mapper/ventoy is write-protected but explicit read-write mode requested.
ERROR: Failed to mount '/dev/disk/by-label/vtoycow'

Re: Ventoy USB Persistence Not Working

Ventoy was recently updated.

You should rather submit your issue to the maintainers in the AUR web page of ventoy-bin.
