From what I could find out googling the warnings that pop up they are not very critical. I am a bit at loss why the segfault just pops up. Can you give me some pointers?

Thanks for the link! If I understand correctly the nvidia driver version nvidia 495.46 is affected by that bug.
I tried to get everything running using the nvidia-470xx release line. To install nvidia-xrun-git I had to edit the dependencies in the PKGBUILD.

I created /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-nvidia-drm-outputclass.conf according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … phics_only.
Running with the following ~/.nvidia-xinitrc

did not work. Instead I started with
nvidia-xrun cinnamon-session
