[Solved] Colored full screen flash during boot

I have an intel i5-1135G7 (iris xe graphics) laptop for which i use systemd-boot as the bootloader and during boot i get a colored (yellow, orange, pink usually) full screen flash.

I have all the "quiet" options enabled and don't have plumouth enabled.

 quiet loglevel=3 rd.systemd.show_status=auto rd.udev.log_level=3

Searching the internet i tested a few i915 kernel parameters but nothing worked. So any tips on what might be causing it or a solution would be helpfull.

Thanks in advance.

Re: [Solved] Colored full screen flash during boot

Enable early KMS: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … _KMS_start potentially in combination with i915.fastboot=1

Thanks. I had early KMS enabled. The fastboot option didn't help. Still getting the flash.

Re: [Solved] Colored full screen flash during boot

An update to 5.16 seems to have solved that.
