[solved] auto-mute mode disables after reboot

I posted here because I wasn't sure were should I report it (alsamixer, arch linux , pulseaudio ...)

Set it to the value you want then run

sudo alsactl store

that should make it retain for further boots, or rather set it again on the next boot, since this is normally a control pulse doesn't touch.

Edit: hmm it apparently does so now and unconditionally so... that's not very smart and not really portable/applicable to all codecs like that change makes it out to be.
