NVIDIA beta drivers - again

Hi folks,

I just wanted to let you know that my nvidia-beta repo is now empty and that the nvidia-beta drivers are now available from [unstable]. The packages have different names now, so to install them, install one of the following:

* nvidia-beta
* nvidia-beta-beyond
* nvidia-beta-ck
* nvidia-beta-suspend2
* nvidia-beta-mm
* nvidia-beta-utils is installed as a dependency for any of them.

I know that there is a 9626 driver, but I only uploaded 9625 anyway. The newer version segfaults immediately on my computer and thus I cannot test it. Once I get a solution for that, I may update them to 9626. The drivers in [extra] will remain at 8774 until nvidia releases another stable driver.

Re: NVIDIA beta drivers - again

Do those packages include the 'no-sensors' patch, or those affected have to unload the eeprom module?

I didn't think of that. You have to blacklist eeprom. People say that is solved with 9626, but I can't get that working right now.
