Wifi speed start with 300 kb/s when PC is just started but later on drops down to 0 bytes/s.
Network controller: Ralink corp. RT5390R 802.11bgn PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 18ed
Kernel driver in use: rt2800pci
Kernel modules: rt2808pci, wl
The kernel module wl is installed by me in order to solve the issue but no success with that.
If you need any output, or additional information, please ask and I'll post it right away. Thanks for everything in advance!

Does this actually cover
Wifi speed start with 300 kb/s when PC is just started but later on drops down to 0 bytes/s.
???
How do you measure the speed?

The only recorded signal is quite poor - can you prevent the problem by getting closer to the AP for a stronger signal?

Okay sorry for late reply.
Here is the log file of journalctl
http://ix.io/3Mqa
And here is the second one
http://ix.io/3MpN
When I try to install any package or ping any website or even browse anything it's not at all possible because of low internet speed.
The speed which I'm telling you is on the basis of pacman downloading packages.
Internet speed starts with around 1000k/s but drop down to 15 b/s.
And if I disconnect my network through networkmanager and reconnect it again.
Then again internet speed will start with 1000k/s and after few seconds drops to 15 b/s.

Can you get closer to the AP?
The signal stumbles between "poor" and "lousy" and at times breaks away.
There're no errors from rt2800pci, but you could try "rt2800pci.nohwcrypt=true", https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters

If you installed the wl driver (as you stated), you should uninstall it. The wl driver is for a totally unrelated broadcom wifi adapter, (yours is a railink adapter).

Adding rt2800pci.nohwcrypt=true removes my wlp6s0. I mean when I run command ip link. I can't see my wifi name there. And even with nmtui I can't connect.
And believe me my computer is just aside of my wifi router. So poor signal make no sense.
EDIT: Ah I just want to point that when my system is started it gives me pretty good speed but eventually it drop downs to bytes and then even pinging any website won't return the signal.

Ah, I don't know how to remove it.
Tried using sudo modprobe -r wl
But no success.

pacman -Rs the package… but it should just consume some diskspace.

?? Please post the system journal for that boot.

EM shielded or interference, but for whatever reason, the signal is poor.
−100 dBm is the *theoretic* minimum.
For a nearby AP you're looking for the low -30ies, and it's a logarithmic scale.
We're talking about the difference between 1000nW and 0.001nW
Does the adapter require an external antenna?

Ah, shit.

is a FILTHY LIE
Try "rt2800pci.nohwcrypt=1", should™ work (tested loading w/ that parameter)

I had tried but it doesn't work.
Maybe changing the wifi driver will solve the issue?

Tried what and how does it "not work" - I'm not sure there're other drivers for the chip. Nor that they could improve the signal.
If you pick an old grml from https://mirror.23m.com/grml/ - do you get a better signal?

So far my research conclude to this links, please have look.

If you scroll and look through you willl find the downloadable link which I have attached below.

Above link directly download the driver.

Did you look at any of the timestamps? That's the source for a kernel driver … from 2011 [checks calendar] which is about [checks again to be sure] more than a decade ago.

Okay sorry for the delay but I have solved my problem by installing https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rt55 … ched-dkms/ this package from AUR.
Now my wifi is working fine. Marking it as solved. Thanks for replying.
