Xorg sometimes crashes after wake from suspend or initial boot

I found a similar issue: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=253027 , but, it seems to have been fixed with a later version of libinput (1.15.2-1) . However, the current version of libinput is 1.19.3 .
I am using the xf86-amdgpu drivers with xorg.
