Hi,
I'm on i3. I can highlight text from a terminal and middle click to paste.
If I highlight text in a browser (vivaldi & FF tested), paste does not work.
A minor issue, but I would be very grateful if someone could help me resolve it.

FF definitely has a distinct setting to change its behaviour https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Firefo … k_behavior
Not sure about vivaldi and whether that uses some generic gtk3 knob, FWIW works on chromium as expected here.

Hi V1del,
Thanks for the response, trying to move away from chromium https://www.theregister.com/2021/12/14/ … sion_plan/
I can paste to the browser, but still not from with middle click (both the settings in your link now at 'true').
Thanks anyway!

Well, it works fine on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ungoogled-chromium/
Shame there doesn't seem to be a way on ff.

=> works?
Afraid not. Address bar text yes, but main page text isn't copied when highlighted.
