The ip v4 addresses and route have 169.254 and that mostly occurs on windows systems that can't get a valid netwrok addresss.
It is however a general standard and can occur on other OSes also .
The 169.254 is also non-routable so should not influence internet connection at all .
The 2 /64 addresses on ip v6 are odd and don't match the ip v4 addresses.
It almost looks as your wifi card is connected to 2 different networks or some kind of tunneling is used .
Please visit https://internet.nl/ (supports dutch & english) and run their connection test from both archlinux and pop-os .
If the results are different of each other tell us which tests failed .

so i did the test and i did both the website and the connection which had a diffrence in the ip and since i didnt see much sensitive info other than where i live...i am sending the link.....
so for pop os connection test....this is the one https://internet.nl/connection/43ad19402ed44c45a34bda3d0ad609c3/results
and for the website test for pop os....this is the one https://internet.nl/site/www.youtube.com/1474254/
and for arch
website one...... https://internet.nl/site/www.youtube.com/1474265/
connection test one ........ https://internet.nl/connection/323391030b1b4ff982d9c7e0ac06cfef/results#
be sure to check both of them but i know connection is the most important......

There's no difference (I can see) between pop os & archlinux test results.
Apart from lack of dnssec support (or maybe it's just disabled) the connection tests show no issues.
The youtube results are different from what i get though, possibly some firewall or proxy between you and youtube .
A website test for play.pika-network.net from my connection gives a different picture, https://internet.nl/site/play.pika-netw … /1474910/#
It looks like they only connect over ipv4 and may have an incorrect https setup .
(No idea if minecraft servers use https connections) .
Pop OS and the vpn you used may prefer ipv4 connections over ipv6, while archlinux prefers ipv6 (unless no ipv6 address is found )
The problem could be with pika or cloudflare , not on your system / archlinux .
I suggest you show the maintainers of play.pika-network.net the report .

Please use linebreaks / new lines instead of multiple dots, it makes reading posts easier.
add the line below to /etc/hosts
pika-network.net 104.26.2.148
post the output of
$ getent hosts pika-network.net

getent hosts play.pika-network.net
104.26.2.148 play.pika-network.net
and i did play.pika-network in my etc/hosts like this
# Static table lookup for hostnames.
# See hosts(5) for details.
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
127.0.1.1 arch.localdomain ash
104.26.2.148 play.pika-network.net

so is there any way to imitate what is happening in debian or what happens in a vpn like in arch ....with the info given.....

149.202.64.58 is registered to ovh, a french hosting provider.
Normally you don't want to use such an address directly as user.

8.8.8.8 is google public DNS servers.
All 3 of the addresses under the answer section are assigned to cloudflare so confirm cloudlflare is important for reaching pika .
The 104.26.2.148 is what pinging pika over ipv4 gave on my system.
I suggest you try to connect again.
Incase it fails also, look at the /etc/hosts from pop os .
Does it have any pika reference in it ?

Offline
Remove all references to pika from /etc/hosts .
reboot to ensure network stack is freshly initialised
run getent hosts play.pika-network.net > pika.txt
play minecraft on the pika server
Inform us of results and post the contents of pika.txt .

i deleted the line from /etc/hosts and i rebooted and i did the command and i then started minecraft....but its saying timed out and i tried but no luck and the contents of pika.txt is
149.202.64.58 play.pika-network.net
i really would like this problem solved as to play with my friends and everyone here know how good it is / i really wanted to fix it but if its unsolvable / i will go to some debian / but pls try /
Offline
i found out one more thing / i can play in a server called jartex which's ip is jartex.fun so if we find a diffrence between jartex and pika....we might be able to do something.
Offline
They have even less support for modern techniques then pika and are also using cloudflare nameservers.
Continuing to focus on ip v4 .
add
104.26.3.148 play.pika-network.net
to /etc/hosts , reboot and try to connect.
Incase that also fails, post /etc/hosts from the distro where things do work.
