Audio Stopped working

I believe I had audio then it stopped. One of my restarts it came back and it's really strange. I have pulse and pulse-alsa.

Please use code tags when posting terminal output.

One of my restarts it came back

An intermittent problem would suggest hardware failure. Use a live ISO image to rule out local misconfiguration.

It looks like you only have HDMI audio outputs available, is that correct for your machine?

I currently have this on dual boot and the other OS plays audio properly. This is on a lenovo legion y740 laptop with only one HDMI port.

When I plug in my headphones in the jack, the audio works fine.

My audio started working again. I'm confused as to what it could be? Why would it go off then on?

If it stops again, check/post

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
sudo dmesg | grep -iE 'snd|sof'
pactl list cards
pactl list sinks
