[SOLVED] No audio after reinstall
Hello,
After a reinstall I can't seem to get audio back working. I exported the list of packages that I had installed before reinstall and the only audio related things I had were:
pulseaudio pulseaudio-alsa pulsemixer alsa-firmware alsa-utils pavucontrolPulseaudio systemd started, played around with pavucontrol (set playback to motherboard, set fallbacks, changed volumes, changed profiles etc) and nothing. I get audio from my monitor, but not from headphones connected to motherboard.

amixer -c1You have multiple available ports, tried switching between them? E.g.

yes, I tried both headphones and line out. no audio

amixer -c1 set 'Front',0 on,on
amixer -c1 set 'Line',0 100%,100%

Nope. I also tested the headphones and aux cable with phone, everything works.

Then you have a weird jack setup, this should explicitly disable the speakers for headphones. But yes this would've been a suggestion as well, totally overlooked that or rather I thought I read it was already disabled.
