Hey there,
I'm on a Thinkpad T460.
This month I've run into a strange problem where my screen doesn't seem to wake from sleep/at boot. There is no sign of the screen's backlight being on*. External monitors work fine. On occasion, the screen will come back on sometimes several seconds after waking, most commonly several minutes, or sometimes seemingly never.
I tried using a lcd-brightness config** with laptop-mode-tools, but this didn't seem to help.
Any ideas/next steps for troubleshooting?
*Curiously, one time I had this issue on boot I recall seeing the Lenovo splash screen *very* faintly, if that's indicative of anything. Most other times though, the backlight seems 100% off.
