Full screen game with lower performance than windowed.

Guys, good evening,

Im using gnome and everything is up to date and recently I notice bad performance while playing Horizon Zero Dawn in full screen (like 30~40fps) and, when i go to windowed gets better (50~60fps)... Tested with other games though, like Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls is a bit different, when full screen runs at 60 (steam overlay fps statistics) but on monitor clearly it wont on 60fps...

I'm missing something in my xorg.conf? I have two monitors, different brands (one principal (HDMI) and other just for support(DP to vga adapter))...

My specs are: 1070, i7 7700k, 16gb ram...
Tried search for something in wiki but didnt find anything that can help me...

Re: Full screen game with lower performance than windowed.

Does it matter on what monitor you run the game?
Have you tested the behavior when you start and run gnome on only one monitor?
Do the windows set "xprop _NET_WM_BYPASS_COMPOSITOR"?
