[SOLVED] Could not update key: 6BC26A17B9B7018A

Hello yesterday i ran yay command to update my system and i got this warning import pgp key c132293954bbe4ad, "sergej pupykin <spupykin@archlinux.org>? [y/n] i accepted it and everything worked as expected. I would like to know why was this asked now and not in the process when i first installed the package that needed the key.

Also due to the warning above i decided to read a little on what archlinux-keyring is and its uses and i came across this command pacman-key --refresh-keys so i ran it and in the process i got an error about not being able to update this key: 6BC26A17B9B7018A, more specifically this was the error ==> ERROR: Could not update key: 6BC26A17B9B7018A is it something i should be worried about i don't have any problems with my system so far, any help appreciated.

Thanks.

I also got this and would like to know what it's about. `iwd` and gnome documents have both core dumped since this update and sudo hangs without prompting for a password unless I log in using the fall back option. I messed something up for sure.

EDIT: My problems were likely caused by an incomplete update. Reinstalling the kernel and firmware packages seems to have fixed me up.

Re: [SOLVED] Could not update key: 6BC26A17B9B7018A

The key 6BC26A17B9B7018A was installed by the archlinux-keyring package.  The key can not be located on a key server or using WKD to updated it.
If that key needs updating that update will be part of the next release of archlinux-keyring.
