In the latest version of Virtualbox The ISO/USB image dies with a number of service errors and never completes loading the OS.
I have Virtualbox version and the current version of Archiso Image.
My VM is setup for EFI and I can choose the EFI stub from the VBox EFI menu, (it doesn't load automatically)
The error that show up display issues as follows.
the ISO - A start job is running for the rebuild dynamic linker cache, and followed by several error messages.
I figure that I have a few options here -
Try a previous version of Virtualbox
Try an older version of Archiso - Not sure whether this is a good idea.
Switch Virtualbox over to MBR/BIOS, since I don't have a specific need for EFI
I'm not too worried about which approach to take as I'm guessing one of them will work fine, and I'll report on my results later.
What have other users been doing? Skipping EFI or sticking with an older version of VirtualBox?

Ah. I thought that was only referencing whether EFI selected the efi stub, suggesting that maybe booting manually would work?
Latest ArchLinux 2022.01.01 will only EFI boot manually in EFI Shell using "Shell> FS1:\EFI\BOOT\BOOTx64.EFI" (on Virtualbox).

If that's not the case, I'll chill
