Waiting 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label (on installed system)

Hi, I'm new to the arch comunity, I tried installing arch from another distro, did the partitions, the filesystems (GPT/BIOS), extracted the fsf of the iso inside / (already mounted / and /boot), chroot into it with the essencial locations binded, installed the kernel with pacman, did the `grub-install` and `grub-mkconfig`, some os configuration (fstab, users), but this error appears, as fas as I've seen is common with USB sticks, but in my case is for an already installed system, grub appears to work fine (but I suspect the issue is inside /boot/grub/grub.cfg) and the kernel appears to boot. Here is some info:

How I've setup the partitions (do I really need UUIDs here?) (the 3MB for the GPT/BIOS exist but no need to list it here)

Also If you don't know what's the solution but you know exactly at which stage it's happening and how to get the logs of that it would be appreciated,

i would suggest using uuid's in fstab, also your grub config looks different to all my arch boxes, its missing the

set root='hd*,gpt*'

line and the search section has one line instead of 2 and the UUID in this section doesnt match the other 2 occurances.

maybe you installed the grub version from the host OS you were installing from? i would suggest using the arch live usb and chroot in and re-install grub and regenerate the grub config and also update the fstab with UUID's.

Didn't worked, I don't think thats the issue, that set root should be a simplified version of the search statement, I've tried many ways but none worked.

I've seen that my nvme don't have a label, maybe thats the issue.

That's not the issue when you are at that point you are already past GRUB and in the initramfs stage.

You should fix the order in your fstab. Move the root partition to the top, the passno doesn't inherently define this.

Other than that maybe a wonky initial initramfs due to the unorthodox setup method, once you're in your system and the partitions set up as they are needed regenerate your initramfs with

mkinitcpio -P
