What games do you play in Wine?
I don't mean "Cedega", I mean Wine from Arch. I also don't mean games you can play, but games you actually play.

Starcraft (and Broodwars), Halflife (and Opposing Forces and Blue Shift), and the pinball game that comes with windows 2000/xp.

Space Tripper (there's a Linux version, but I only have the Windows full version) mostly. I play Heretic II on occasion.

Blades of Exile.
(Freezes on start in latest versions though, could be a regression in the latest Wine.)

I had Starcraft running pretty well in it, then ended up switching to Cedega.

Crap, EVE-online working under wine? I don't wanna know, I don't got the time. ^^
I run Baldurs Gate 2: Shadow of Amn + Throne of Bhaal. Work so and so. Double mouse pointers and you have to copy over an installation from Windows cause the installer don't work.

Starcraft/Broodwar, Baldur's Gate 1+2.

War3/TFT, Fallout 1, Serious Sam. NWN runs natively, so no need for that and Steam, Warhammer: Dawn of War and Generals I never got working (despite WineDB entries to the contrary). Games left in Windows: Hitman Blood Money, Far Cry...
A bit off-topic, but I've been meaning to ask this for a while now; is VMWare/XenSource a viable gaming solution?

...Fallout 1....
I thought Fallout 1 was a DOS game.

He simply meant that wine can use DOS games and DOS applications without much effort. I use DOS programs that Linux doesnt have yet

That's not a "huh" of confusion; I understood him. "Huh," was what I said when I read it, and I couldn't think of anything else to post at the time. I was just surprised to learn that Wine could do that.

Well, Huh means confusion. You should've actually thought something around the lines of: "Heh"

Same here but I started so sometimes play CS:S instead of 1.6 after I got away from World of Warcraft.
Hail to the thief!

I would say that "huh?" is confusion, and "huh." is more along the lines of a noncommital grunt, but I probably shouldn't derail the thread any further. 8)

IIRC, Soldier of Fortune is available as a native port, too. Just FYI.
Todays mistakes are tomorrows catastrophes.
