I have installed Arch on a Huawei MateBook D15, and I get no sound from the speaker. As far as I understand ALSA can't see my speakers. Alsa only sees the HDMI outputs but no analog output (more details below). I know it's not an hardware issue since it works on windows. Even with a jack headphone sound doesn't work.
I attach useful logs and info, hoping you may find some clue.
First of all to get pacmd list-cards to see my card, I added this to driver options:
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/intel_dspfix.conf
options snd_intel_dspcfg dsp_driver=1This is lspci. As you can see I got a Multimedia audio controller, but I don't see any Audio device or speaker (not sure it should be anyway)
$ lspci -vv

Remove /etc/modprobe.d/intel_dspfix.conf and install sof-firmware instead and reboot.

Thanks. I had already installed sof-firmware, but I tried to remove the file and reboot.
Now the card is not detected at all:

Did you solve your problem? @EmanueleSorce I have similiar problem with matebook 14s 2021
Offline
Install of latest `alsa-ucm-conf` solved the issue for me.
Offline
@ndhakara I had not solved the issue yet. I worked around that using bluetooth speakers until now.
@wondertan I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion
Offline
Update:
Installing latest 'alsa-ucm-conf' did not fix the issue in my case.

Irrespective of whether pulse detects things properly, does any of
speaker-test -Dhw:0,1 -c2
speaker-test -Dhw:0,2 -c2
speaker-test -Dhw:0,3 -c2work properly? If they don't you'll probably need to report a bug to the sof-firmware project.
