David's Batch Processor GIMP plugin Webp support

I have been using the GIMP plugin David's Batch Processor for many years. I recently discovered the power of the WebP format for image compression and started using this.
The plugin does not support webp for export.

It is very useful when I have very large galleries, it speeds up the work enormously while maintaining an excellent quality/aspect ratio.

The project appears to be no longer supported.

Could you tell me a good plugin to use with GIMP for simultaneous conversion of a large number of images to WebP?
