Firefox with gnome-vfs

I have seen very recently that Debian propose a package to allow the use of the gnome-vfs system with firefox, so that you can use URL like smb:// or sftp:// in firefox. Is there a way to do the same thing in Arch? Some years ago I was a konqueror user. I abandoned KDE, but this is the feature which I miss the most...

xulrunner would need to be recompiled with gnomevfs enabled. atm it's disabled.
