Low FPS in Garrys mod

I switched from Windows to Arch and when I decided to play Garry's mod I got very low fps.
All applications are launched using a video card, for example, the same minecraft gives the same or more frame rate than it was before.

Any ideas?

Hey, @rewayi!

I have never played Gmod, but I've played all of Half-Life, Half-Life 2 and Portal games on Linux and it worked great for me.
I suppose you're running through Steam Proton?

install your lib32 graphics libs, .e.g. lib32-nvidia-utils if you use nvidia, lib32-mesa/libglvnd on mesa
