I have a quick question.. I am building a custom kernel have a quesrtion regarding the ipw3945 drivers.. The kernel I am building uses the ck patch set. Do I need to do anything special to get the ipw3945 drivers working propgerly? I am assuming I can install the ipw3945ck package and be golden but just want to make sure for sure. Thanks for any input.

You can only use the ipw3945-ck package if you use the prebuilt kernel from the kernel26ck package. If you use your own kernel, you have to build your own ipw3945 driver package. You can use the ipw3945 PKGBUILD for that, you can find that in Arch CVS.
