BSPWM restart on its own

Hi guys,

I have a small problem, sometimes when  i press my volume button (fn key and {f2, f3}) bspwm restart automatically.
It happens sometime like 2 out of 10, but it is super annoying when it happens.

So i could really use some help from you guys.
Thanks everyone for hearing me out.

Re: BSPWM restart on its own

I have a similar issue on my manjaro kde system. This happens extremely rarely and I have not been able to solve it yet. Switching to LTS kernel does help a little bit though. Next time this happens, just login into your system and share output of "sudo dmesg". Similar issue.

Re: BSPWM restart on its own

Check the old xorg log for a backtrace that ends somewhere in XkbHandleActions, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=271450

Sorry friends i didnot had the problem since then,

But a few minute ago it just happened but i cannot find any thing that ends with XkkbHandleActions

I checked both files Xorg.1.log and Xorg.1.log.old from .local/share/xorg

Re: BSPWM restart on its own

It would probably be wise to share the xorg logs as well as the complete system journal for the boot ("sudo journalctl -b" for the current one) - you can use the tip in the 1st link below to feed them into a pastebin service.
And yes: all the outputs.
