[SOLVED] Pavucontrol won't start, can't reinstall it

Hello!

I was trying to configure my microphone (which wasn't detecting any input) and reading the forums I saw some people suggesting installing pavucontrol. I installed pavucontrol, but then my laptop shutdown because I had forgot to connect it to a power source (I'm still configuring Arch and haven't added a battery widget on QTIle).
After rebooting, I tried to run pavucontrol but it wouldn't start. I then removed it with:
"yay -R pavucontrol"
and install it again with
"yay -Syu pavucontrol"
but the installation resulted in a error:

After this problem, I also noticed pulseaudio was no longer working properly (my system has no sound):

sudo journalctl -p 0..3 -xn

Mar 01 21:59:34 acer pulseaudio[9774]: Daemon already running.

Mar 01 21:59:34 acer systemd[748]: Failed to start Sound Service.

I believe both problems are related.

It looks like pavucontrol wasn't removed properly, but I'm unsure how I should clean the "leftovers". I've tried this from the Wiki but without success. Not sure if I'm running the command correctly tho: "sudo pacman -S --overwrite libcanberra-0.30+2+gc0620e4-5 pavucontrol"

Any suggestions?

Solved!
The solution was running:
yay -Syu pavucontrol --overwrite="*"

and then tried to start pavucontrol, but got this error:
pavucontrol: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libgtkmm-3.0.so.1: file too short

So I executed:
yay -Syu gtkmm3 --overwrite="*"

and pavucontrol started working again. After that, I rebooted my PC, opened pavucontrol and was able to get the audio back by tweaking some settings in it.
